PROFESSIONAL BIO
I have worked as a live camera operator, videojournalist, director, producer, editor, gaffer and certified aerial drone pilot. I have shot national breaking news, global live sporting events, movies, music videos, corporate videos, commercials, documentaries, demo reels, weddings, funerals, audition tapes, instructional videos, crime scenes, celebrity interviews, modelling portfolios, military and police training footage... nothing is ever off the table.
I have worked as a writer, correspondent and live camera operator for major television networks such as BBC, TSN, CTV, CBC, NBC, FOX, MSG and Comcast.
I was formally with Midcan Productions in Winnipeg, MB as their producer, videographer, rentals associate and drone pilot & systems maintainer.
I have an extensive freelance background and have travelled throughout North America and Asia on assignment. I have shot video for large hotel chains in Mexico and Bali, on-location product reviews for companies like Asus and Apple, and shot for millions of sports fans around the world at events like the 2018 Asian Games, 2010 Winter Olympics and NHL hockey games throughout Canada.
AERIAL QUALIFICATIONS
I obtained my Transport Canada RPAS VLOS Advanced Operations Certificate, as of May 10, 2019.
I am also FAA Part 107 Certified to conduct advance drone operations in the United States.
